Alicia Busick, was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. She helped run her family's fishing charter business which operated for over 20 years in Seward, Alaska. Her passion for small business lead her to start MandyLion Graphics in 2010 with a goal to empower small business owners. In 2013, Alicia and Andrea Costales, were selected by Google's Get Your Business Online (GYBO) campaign , to be Alaska's State GYBO Ambassadors.

Alicia has volunteered with the Alaska Small Business Development Center as a small business instructor, teaching classes on Google's GYBO program. In 2013, she assisted planning the first Anchorage Mini Maker Faire along with the Anchorage Economic Development Center and Anchorage MakerSpace.  Her drive to help small businesses use technology and resources also helped her join Google's Women Techmakers in 2018. She currently owns Night Sands with her husband, Jesse Busick, and is the proud mother of 6 amazing kids who love Comic Con.
